It's becoming increasingly clear that whatever semblance of government that comes after the fall of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad will be comprised of radical Sunni Islamists, quite possibly ones aligned with Al Qaeda.

Rick Santorum tells The Brody File that it probably makes sense that the Ames, Iowa Straw Poll becomes a thing of the past because it “is probably not a wise expenditure of funds when it is not proven to be a great determiner as to who ends up winning the Caucus.”
Santorum won Iowa in 2012 and placed fourth in the Straw Poll. Michele Bachmann won the Straw Poll but fared poorly in the Caucus.
