A live performance from gospel legend CeCe Winans. Plus, a head-on collision . . . . My feet were on fire. The car was filling up with smoke. . . . . with both drivers trapped. The steering wheel was stuck in my chest. I couldn’t move. Two supernatural rescues on today’s 700 Club. Well, welcome to The 700 Club. A major battle between unions and businesses brewing in South Carolina. The issue? Can a company open a factor wherever it wants to. Officials appointed by President Obama are opposing that idea. Senator Jim DeMint calls those officials "pro-labor cronies" who are standing in the way of creating new jobs. David Brody has the story. Boeing has been doing business in the pro-union state of Washington for years. Then it decided to build a $750 million factory in South Carolina where workers don't have to be part of a union. Well, that led to complaints from the machinists union that Boeing moved south as punishment for past strikes in Washington. A company can make a decision to locate wherever it wants, but it can not retaliate against workers for exercising their legal rights. The union complained to the federal government, and now the National Labor Relations Board is suing to prevent the move. We're about freedom in this country. Since when does Washington have the ability to tell a company that it can't go and open up an expansion facility in a state it so chooses? I thought that was the owners and shareholders and investors of the company that make those decisions as well as its board, not Washington. Boeing calls it a business decision, and not one union employee lost their job because of the move. Sen. Jim DeMint said the NLRB is supposed to protect the rights of all workers, but wonders about its role under the current administration. President Obama has stocked this board with union cronies. The senator points to NLRB official Craig Becker as an example. He has strong union ties, and he wasn't confirmed by the Senate, and he only got his position when Obama appointed him during a congressional recess. It is a very unaccountable board. It's supposed to be independent, but it's really an arm of the administration kind of doing their bidding for the unions under the guise of being independent. In the Boeing matter, DeMint has filed a Freedom of Information request to investigate what kind of communications took place between the White House, the machinists union, and the NLRB. This appears to be an attempt by the administration, by the unions to intimidate an American company; and I would very much like to see what kind of conversations they've had. Conservatives call this a classic example of government operating beyond its bounds. It goes to a larger issue. It goes to this idea that the Obama Administration has these tentacles that cover all aspects of our lives. Those tentacles have reached South Carolina as the future of the Boeing plant in Charleston remains up in the air. Well, let me break this down for you. Boeing has put about a billion dollars into building this plant. In return, they’ve gotten 900 million in concessions from South Carolina that are contingent upon them providing 5000 jobs at that plant. So this labor case is putting a whole lot of money at risk. And here’s the basis of it. You’ve got a Vice President at Boeing who made this comment to the Seattle Times, and I’ll read it for you. "The overriding factor was not the business climate, and it was not the wages we’re paying today. It was that we can’t afford to have a work stoppage every three years." Now if you’re pro-labor and you hear that statement, you go "Well, you’re opening this plant as a retaliation for us having strikes." If you’re pro-business, he’s just stating the facts and saying, "We had a work stoppage back in 2008 for two months, and it nearly cost us the company, and we can’t afford to do that." And when you go back to 1989, there’ve been four work stoppages at the plant in Washington. So it’s one of these things that depends on your viewpoint. Is this just free speech, and he’s speaking is minus the business climate? Or is this some kind of retaliation for the workers exercising their right to strike? It’s a case that lawyers love, because it lasts forever. And here’s what the administrative judge has already said. This is the judge hearing the case, "I’ll be retired or dead before this thing is over." Wendy Griffith has our top stories from the CBN Newsroom. Wendy? Thanks, Gordon. President Obama is tapping America’s emergency oil reserves to try and stabilized global oil prices. It’s all part of an international effort to offset lost oil supplies caused by the fighting in Libya. The situation there causes the world to lose about 1.5 million barrels of oil a day. Less oil means higher gas prices. The move came after the Federal Reserve chairman admitted he’s not sure why the economy is still doing so poorly. One analyze says tapping our oil reserves suggests we’re just grasping for solutions. Other market observers say it could have a negative effect in the long term. Two Muslim converts are in custody today for a foiled terror plot on a military recruiting center in Seattle. The FBI says the men are home-grown American terrorists. Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif and Walli Mujahidh were planning an attack similar to the one at Fort Hood massacre, this time with machine guns and grenades. The men sought retaliation for alleged crimes by U.S. soldiers charged with killing Afghan civilians last year. This is the eighth time in the last two years that attacks have been planned or carried out against military sites in the United States. Well, the police department and churches are working side by side in Virginia city to transform communities. The program is called "Serve the City." Since it began, crime has dropped and hearts are being changed. Mark Martin has the story. Yolande Chapman is standing in her kitchen surrounded by new cabinets, thanks to volunteers with the Serve the City program in Chesapeake, Virginia. And that’s not all they’ve done free of charge for this single mother of four who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I had a major hole in the ceiling. In its place, a beautiful new textured ceiling. I am very, very honored and very, very grateful. Serve the City is a worldwide program. In Chesapeake, nearly 20 churches are volunteering in more than a dozen neighborhoods, giving them a face-lift and fixing what's broken. Homeowner Diane Smith is getting a new roof. To God be all the glory, because this is Him. He has given me favor. Coordinators of Serve the City say the vision is to build partnerships between the police department and faith-based organizations and civic organizations. They do that not only by rebuilding and repairing homes, but also through building relationships. Bring them all together, share resources, share ideas and really bring the whole demeanor of the community up. And at the same time, bring crime down. The Chief of Police in Chesapeake says since Serve the City began, violent crime has taken a nose dive. I think overall it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 to 80 percent decrease in violent crime. A vivid example of what can happen when faith partners with action. Mark Martin, CBN News, Chesapeake, Virginia. So amazing how crime moves out when people with good will move in, Gordon. It is amazing. I love that story. I love what happens when Christians get involved in their community. We can make a difference. Church is more than just Sunday morning. It’s all week long, and what are we doing to make a difference? We can be the change in our neighborhoods and our cities if we just get out and start doing what Christians normally do, which is love other people. Well, it’s a continent with 54 countries and close to a billion people. And most people don’t realize it, but Africa is becoming one of the world’s greatest economic success stories. George Thomas explains why from Johannesburg, South Africa. "Ubuntu." It’s a well-known saying here in parts of southern Africa. It means, "I am what I am because of who we all are." And who we all are, are a people yearning to make our lives better and to work together with the rest of the world. And Africans increasingly want to play a role in that world. Today across Africa, the power of Ubuntu is giving millions of people hope about the future of their continent. I do believe that Africa is a rising continent. People, working together to lift their nations from the ashes of war, famine, death, disease, AIDS, and corruption. (Interviewing): And what gives you the optimism? I suppose the will of the people to actually be stronger, you know, and to do something to make it better. Surveys show there are few corners of this vast land where optimism, especially among young people, isn't rising. It's true that Africa does face many problems, but I think that it's not insurmountable. I think that there is a lot of hope for the youth, that we as a continent can pull through. From the International Monetary Fund to the World Bank to influential business magazines, experts point to a vibrant and changing Africa. Some even liken it to an African Renaissance. It is growing, it's growing. It's going to be like the same as the other top countries soon. This year, eight of the 20 fastest growing economies in the world will hail from Africa. The continent's overall economy is expected to grow in the years to come at a rapid rate of five to eight percent annually. I think in the next 10 to 15 years, giving the GDP estimates of Africa, the population and the services available, it certainly could be a place to invest your money. George Nicholls runs a multimillion-dollar consultancy group out of Johannesburg, South Africa. He says much of Africa's growth is fueled by an exploding middle class that numbers around 400 million and climbing. A lot of domestic spending goes on mobile phones. A lot of domestic spending goes on beverages and alcohol and staple foods. And outside of that, where you see the growth now, is actually in banking services. Cell phone and telecommunications have brought banking to Africa. And once you bring banking to people, businesses start to flourish. And this is the new Africa story: a continent that is consuming like never before. Shopping malls are sprouting up all over the place. People are buying cell phone technology, opening up bank accounts, buying homes, cars, food, clothes. You really get a sense that Africa is finally moving ahead. The World Bank says up to 40 percent of the gross domestic product of some of the largest African economies is fueled by the service sector. (Interviewing): And you have disposable income now to spend? Yes. I work now. I'm currently employed, and I am happy with my job. Do you worry about debt? No, I'm 16-years-old. I think that's my parents job. Good answer. You want kids to sense that there’s a level of excitement that Africa’s time has come. Trevor Ncube is a successful Zimbabwean media mogul. He owns several leading newspapers and other business enterprises across the continent. He's thrilled that Africa is now the third fastest growing economic region in the world, after Asia and the Middle East. Seeing my generation, and moreso our children and people younger than me, who are passionate about the continent, who see this being the place that the whole world is going to stand up and pay attention to in the next 20, 30, 40 years to come. Nicky Newton-King is preparing for it. She helps run one of the largest stock exchanges in Africa. King said investors, both inside and outside the continent, are looking for ways to play Africa. I think the whole emerging market appetite is ticking up. I think Africa is the undiscovered continent and the undiscovered emerging market. Are there still serious problems plaguing the continent? Absolutely. Africa faces new challenges every day, and experts say investors should be prepared for the long haul. People must understand that investing in Africa is not for sissies. People must understand that there are going to be risks, and they need to understand the nature of those risks. But if the trends continue, Africa will play an increasingly important role in the world; and perhaps, too, as a strategic and vital engine of the global economy. George Thomas, CBN News, in Johannesburg, South Africa. It’s wonderful to see Nelson Mandela’s dream come to pass that, yes, they can get over the racial devise, they can get over the horrors of the past and come into a whole new prosperity. It wasn’t just a few years ago that I actively heard some major NGOs here in America bewailing, "Can Africa ever change?" And the answer is yes, it can. And, yes, it can come into prosperity. Terry? Well, coming up next, two supernatural rescues from one horrific wreck. As he started pulling me through, it was just a burst of white light. He seemed to just emerge through the door, and he just kind of floated out on the ground. Four eyewitnesses see angels, after this. Coming up later . . . . . . . . they call her the soul of gospel music. CeCe Winans joins us love on today’s 700 Club. Do you have money to burn? If not, you need to know that the paper dollars you've invested your life savings in are being consumed right now in a growing blaze of inflation and declining value. Economists know why the dollar is burning and at risk of crashing. It's because politicians and central bankers keep printing, and this makes the dollars you've worked so hard to for, worth less and less. The politicians and bankers hated the gold standard, because it forced them to be honest. That's why the US dollar keeps losing value and could soon crash. The good news is that you can create your own personal gold standard and keep your savings protected when the dollar crashes. Call or visit online now. Next week . . . . . . . . on patrol with a crooked cop. Robbed someone Monday. Have sex with someone on Tuesday. Transporting drugs Wednesday. And protecting drug addicts Thursday. Hear how he got busted. I knew I was going to be dead within 24 hours. Plus . . . . . . . . he spent years in front of the camera. But he's never told this story. John Tesh makes a stunning confession. I just couldn't take the pain anymore. Next week on 700 Club. Well, throughout this week we've been running polls about the supernatural on our website. Yesterday we asked, "Does God still work miracles today?" Nearly 95% of you said yes. Boy, we've got to work on that 5.28%. What's wrong with you guys? Yes, but not as much is what we read in Scripture. Yes it is. Same yesterday, today, and forever. You've got to understand that, anyway. The survivors of a fiery crash in Crawford, Texas, would certainly agree with the 95%. They were rescued at the hands of angels. 911, what’s your emergency? There has been a really serious car accident. We have a vehicle that is upside down and on fire. These people are trapped, and we need the Jaws of Life. We need help now! Four lives intersected on Highway 6 in Crawford, Texas, that day. Cheri and Cody Clemmons, Lisa Bowdoin, and Anthony Russo all met in the midst of tragedy. But all say they had a supernatural encounter on that rain-slicked road that changed their lives forever. I was on my way home from work. It had been raining all that day. I just lost control. Lisa’s SUV slid into the path of Anthony’s oncoming car. I remember seeing the car come through my windshield, and that's it. I blacked out. I remember waking up. The impact flipped Lisa’s SUV multiple times, crushing Anthony’s car. Both drivers were trapped. My feet were on fire. The car was filling up with smoke. There was fire coming in through my left door. And it burnt my arm, my leg. I didn't feel any pain or anything like that. But I just knew I wasn't going to die this way. And the steering wheel was stuck in my chest. I couldn't move. Anthony blacked out a second time. Lisa began to pray. I just remember saying, "God help me." And it seemed like when I had that peace come over me that everything was going to be okay is when Cheri showed up. Cheri and Cody Clemmons saw the wrecked vehicles, and raced to help. Cheri called 911, then she cried out to God for a miracle. I could just feel the gift of faith stirring inside of my chest that, "Nobody is going to die here today! Nobody! I'm not going to watch anybody die. God is going to show up." The couple ran over to Lisa’s burning SUV. Cody climbed inside to try to pull Lisa from the growing flames. God gave me the courage to go in there, because I told Him right there I was scared. I didn't want to die. I didn't want to burn up. The next thing I know, I'm in the car. I was upside down and the seatbelt, I kept trying to release it, but it wouldn't release. I handed her the knife, and she cut the seatbelt, and she fell to the roof. The next thing that happened was that both her and I realized that she wasn't coming out of the vehicle. The roof had been crushed, and there was not much room, maybe less than eight inches for her to get through. In a split second, the impossible situation turned into a divine rescue. When I reached out, we grabbed each other’s hands. There was another set of hands that grabbed our hands. As I saw Cody’s hands, I saw a set of white hands around his. As he started pulling me through, it was just a burst of white light. Before I knew it, we were both outside the vehicle. Cheri, who had been standing next to the SUV, witnessed the whole thing. God sent an angel to pull Lisa out of that car. I saw this bright white light, and then I saw these hands reach past me where there was no room, and they grabbed a hold of Cody's hands and Lisa's hands. And all of a sudden it was like boop! Cody and Lisa were on the grass next to me. It could only be God’s angels pulling you through there. But the worst was far from over. A few feet away, Anthony lay unconscious with no way to escape the fire consuming his car. There was this huge explosion, and the flames just completely rolled over the car and over Anthony, just consumed it in the black rolling flames. And I just screamed. I said, "God, send your angels now!" At that moment, another eyewitness saw a second miracle unfold. I was just crying out, "God, you’ve got to help this man! You've got to help this man!" And he seemed to just emerge through the door, and he just kind of floated out on the ground. So I believe that God sent supernatural angels here to help him get out of that vehicle. Even though Anthony lost consciousness during the accident, he says there’s no doubt who rescued him from the fiery crash. Oh, it was definitely God. Definitely. I feel like what happened to me was a miracle. I can only say that the Lord sent an angel and removed Lisa from the car, because she was not going to come out of that car. And He also sent an angel and pulled Anthony out of his car, because he was not coming out of that car, either. Soon after, firefighters arrived to douse the flames. God had already pulled everybody out of the vehicles, and everybody was on the grass. And all of a sudden, we look over and everybody looks, and here is this huge rainbow just completely encompassing the entire scene. Lisa and Anthony were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including broken bones and severe burns. I went through eight months of rehab. And I'm able to walk. Recovery has been great. My burns have healed with no problems, no skin grafts. That was another miracle that happened. It took me, I think, over a year. I was going between a walker and crutches, and then from crutches to a cane. I feel good to be walking with a cane, but I still want to walk without one. Two years later, the miracle on Highway 6 remains etched in their minds, a day that desperate prayers were answered, precious lives were saved, and God orchestrated a heroic rescue. He’s an awesome God, because He loves us so much. I think it’s His mercy, being covered and protected in the Blood of Jesus, and that's what it was. The angel of death, or whatever, it passed over. He didn't have any right. He had no authority to take anybody's life that day, because Jesus was there, and He pulled them out. God answers the fervent heartfelt cry, our fervent heartfelt prayers. God answers those, and He delivers us. Do you ever wonder if the supernatural is for today? And if it is—because the Bible does promise that it is—God's the same. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He's the same, He hasn't changed. The same miracles He did when He walked the earth, He's still doing today. But how do you access into it? Here's the promise from Psalm 91:9-12 . . . . . . . . "Because . . . ." Understand there's a condition here. ". . . . because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling." Why? "For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands." We just saw hands, supernatural hands taking people out of cars. "In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Now start understanding that His angels have been given charge over you. God Almighty says, "I want you to take care of my children." That's His charge to the Angels, and because He's using plural, you have at least two. So often we get conscious of demons, and evil, and the bad, and we need to be conscious of the good. The Angels have the demons outnumbered 2 to 1. You've got two of them and start understanding that they are all around you. They have been given charge over you. Why? Because you've made the Most High your dwelling place. Now, let me add to this, because there's a much better promise, a better promise than having angels charge over you. Here it is from Jesus, and these are His words, and they’re from John 14:21 . . . . . . "He who has my commandments and keeps them," Now we've got to understand that that is. That means you love God, and you love other people. Those are the commandments. "This is my commandment that you love one another. These are my commandments, you love." "It is he who loves Me, and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him." That means Jesus will show up in your time of need. He will show up for whatever circumstance you have. He'll show up as your healer. He'll show up at your savior. He'll show up as your deliverer. He'll show up as, "Your all in all." All you have to do is love Him and love other people, and He'll show up. Now, there's a type and shadow in the Old Testament, and it's the Ark of the Covenant. In the Ark of the Covenant it's interesting; the Israelites didn't call it "The tablets." They called it "the testimony." And so in the Ark of the Covenant is the testimony. Over the Ark are two angels, and between the two angels, the manifest presence of God would come and show up. He would manifest Himself. Now, who is that Ark of the Covenant today? Well, it's you and me. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are God's temple. That was just a type and shadow of what was to come. To start visualizing yourself as that, that there's an angel on your right, there's an angel on your left. Their wings overshadow you; and in the middle of that, Jesus comes in, and He manifests Himself. He's written with His finger your testimony and on your heart, what He has done for you. It's unique to you how He's delivered, how He's forgiven, how He’s saved, how He's healed, and that is your testimony for His glory. Now, whatever your need is today, we're going to pray. We're going to come into agreement. The Bible says when two or more agree touching anything, and as we pray, just visualize that, that the Angels are there just as they were in that car wreck. They’re there. In Him we live, and move, and have our being. It's not something you got to call Him down from Heaven. He's right there with you. He's manifesting Himself, and He wants to manifest Himself. He loves you and when you get these things, you get the keys to the supernatural. Now, in an act of faith if you need healing, lay a hand on that area of the body that needs healing, and come into agreement. Terry and I will agree. Come into agreement that the Angels are with you. Come into agreement with the word of Jesus that He's with you. That if you love Him, He'll come and manifest Himself to you. And with all of this agreement nothing will be impossible. With God nothing is impossible. And start thinking to yourself, "How big is possible?" What could happen today? Can I levitate through a door of a car and escape burning flames? The answer is yes, you can. All you have to do is believe. Let's pray, "Lord, we list the needs of the audience to you right now. We just proclaim your glory and how you’re manifesting yourself now, and how you’re healing, how you're providing, how you're delivering now, in Jesus’ name." There’s someone you've got a severe pain in the clavicle of your right shoulder, and God is healing that right now. That pain just left you in Jesus’ name. Just lift your right arm and realize you’re pain free. It's all gone, and it's never going to come back. Take your arm back, take it all around, and just rejoice in what He's doing for you. God just wants to release a vision of His glory to you right now and just receive that, in Jesus’ name. Terry. James, you’ve prayed and asked God for something that you think is impossible, and it's really a test you've put to, to determine for yourself whether He's real or not. God so knows you. He so loves you, and He's already answering the prayer that you've asked for. Someone else, you've got nerve damage stemming from bone fragments in your right elbow. It's numbness primarily in your pinky, but in your fingers. God is just healing that nerve now. What the doctors say can never be healed; with Him all things are possible. It's being healed now in Jesus’ name. There someone else, you have a pelvic injury the doctors say can never be healed, but God is touching you and healing that right now. You're just going to feel like a warmth go through your lower back and circle right around to the sides of your abdomen. God is doing a reconstructive miracle for you. Someone else, your suffering will from sickle cell anemia and is just weakness throughout body, and God is giving you strength. He is giving energy. He's able to recreate your blood and is able to recreate, so you can have normal oxygen levels. He's able and just trust Him right now, in Jesus’ name, just receive it now. In the name of Jesus. Vicky, receive the answer to your prayer today. "Lord, we thank and praise you for what you're doing. How you’re manifesting yourself now. We receive you. When we receive you we receive the answer to every human need. Thank you for it, in Jesus’ name. Amen." If you've been touched by God, we want to share in your good report. When the woman in our next story developed crippling headaches, she tried everything to make them go away, but nothing worked until she called CBN. For five years Sangeeta suffered from paralyzing headaches. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a potentially deadly buildup of fluid inside the skull. I couldn't do any work or even get out of bed. I felt like I was going crazy. I didn't want anyone to talk to me. Sangeeta prayed to her Hindu gods for healing. She also tried different medications, but nothing seemed to work. I cried a lot. I thought, "Oh, God, what is happening to me. Please take my life." But right at that very moment I felt a strong urge to turn on the TV. She came across CBN India's program Ek Nayee Zindagi which means "a brand-new life." The host asked people to join him in prayer. I repeated what he said. Then he told us we could call in for more prayers. The Counselor prayed with her for healing and finances. He said there is nothing impossible with God. I told him that I have lost so much, but he said that everything I lost, Jesus would give me double. That night Sangeeta had a dream. I saw a Cross with a bright warm light radiating from the center of it. I felt so comforted as if the entire sickness was leaving my body. Then I suddenly woke up. I felt so light, so good. Sangeeta knew that Jesus Christ had healed her. She immediately prayed to accept Him as her Lord and Savior; and she wasn't a bit surprised when her doctor told her that she no longer had hydrocephalus. Everyone else was so amazed. They still are. Because all my neighbors knew that I couldn't do anything before. But now I have so much energy that I can do twice the amount of work that I could before ever getting sick. Sangeeta continues to learn more about Jesus by going to church, reading the Bible, and watching CBN's program. I watched the program every day. It really comforts me. She and her husband opened a small shop which allowed them to pay off their medical bills and support their family. I'm very happy. My greatest joy is that I’ve met my Savior. Well, do you want to answer some questions that have come into our chat room? Let's bring it online. Okay, this is Nina who says, I just lost my sister. She was 37, and had her whole life ahead of her. I don't understand why some people are saved from disaster, while others are not. It doesn't make sense." You're right Nina, it doesn't make sense. Solomon wrote about it, he said that time and chance happen to us all, that there is a randomness to the universe, that this is part of what God did. Is He still sovereign? Yes. But within His sovereignty, He allows for random things to happen. Sometimes those random things can be horrific. Jesus talked about it. There was a tower that collapsed. In his day people were saying that's because they were terrible sinners on that tower, and God judged them and killed them on the spot. And He said, "No, they weren't any worse sinners than anybody else." And so even Jesus was saying that was random. This isn't something that is a planned thing. Now there is an overarching sovereignty, but it wasn't specifically directed at your sister. In your time of mourning, it's okay to grieve. I really encourage people it's okay to ask why. That's not a bad question. And sometimes we don't get the answer. We don't get the answer to why. Why did this one die? Why did this happen? Why did this heart attack happen? Why did this tragedy happen? Sometimes we don't get the answer. The way through is just like Job, and there's a reason Job is called a "wisdom book." He had incredible wisdom. I will not curse God. I will continue to honor Him and trust in His unfailing love. And when you understand that and understand that all things work together for good, that God has our end. And regardless of the tragedies on earth, He has our end, and He has got us covered, and He is working it all out. And when we come to that realization, will come to a great wisdom. Okay, this is Jennifer who says, "Once a loved one dies, can they watch over us and protect us from harm?" No, and this is something that over time has kind of crept into the thought patterns of the church, and no. Don't pray to the dead. Don't look for protection from the dead. Don't have anything come between you and Jesus. Understand that we have access directly to God the Father through Jesus, and we can come directly to Him and get answers to our prayers. Well, here's a question from one of our viewers. "I heard that continually praying for healing and blessings is wrong. I heard God gets annoyed with those prayers, and our prayer should solely be about worship. Is that true?" No, that's not true and there's a reason Jesus talked in parables about prayer. In one there was the neighbor who knocked on the neighbor's door, and the neighbor responded, "I can't get up and give you bread for your travelers, because I'm in bed with my kids." But he kept knocking on the door, and because of his persistence the neighbor arose. And the unrighteous judge who wouldn't answer the widow's case. And her persistence got her through. But there's also a balance. Don't get into work oriented prayer where if I pray 24 hours a day or if I have certain set prayer times, and certain fasts, that I can work for my answer, and I can work for the blessing. That's not it at all. Prayer is designed to open up the pathway to God, so you can look to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. One moment of faith is all that's required. All that's required. So look at prayer as a way to increase your faith. It's not something that you earn brownie points with God with. And when you understand it's that persistence in prayer, "what's it take to get me to faith to believe?" then you get the answer. Well, thank you for questions. That's all the time we have for today, but we do love to hear from you and appreciate your submitting them. Well, coming up next, you know her as a gospel singer, but that's not all she does. Cece hosts the Always Sisters, Forever Brothers conferences which inspire young men and women to become what God created them to be. Please welcome back to The 700 Club, Cece Winans. It's great to have you here! Hi. Good to be back. We love when you come. You always have something wonderful to share, the music that inspires us. Praise God. You said that you never thought you'd be a speaker, and here you are doing these, what are they, Always Sisters, Forever Brothers conferences around the country? Yes. Tell me about what you are doing. Well, you know we started, this'll be my fifth one this year. We started five years, well, six years ago. We haven't done it every year. And it started out as a young girl’s conference, and then two years ago we added the young men from ages 13 to 27, and just really redirecting them, encouraging them, reminding them who they are and whose they are. God is just doing a fabulous work. He’s saving them. He's sanctifying them. He's baptizing them with His Holy Spirit. It's just amazing the transformation that is happening during these few days. You are addressing some really extreme issues. Yes. STDs, AIDS, just sexual purity in general. Just character, honesty, things that are challenged in our culture today. What are you hearing from the young people of today? You know, it was a real learning experience for me. As I started to do these conferences, I didn't realize that so many of our young girls, our young people, are living with AIDS. So many of them are facing confusion about their sexuality. And we have to deal with the real issues, because that's what they're dealing with. In the enemy is deceiving them, and they don't understand who they are and whose they are. We have to deal with them in as we deal with them, God has given us the grace, and they're getting the answers that they need through the Word of God. People are hungry, aren't they? Oh yeah. You know what, that's been one of the greatest surprises for me. Because a lot of times young people just want to be rebellious. They don't want to know. But I'm finding out they do want to know. They're hungry for the truth, and the Word of God works. It worked for my generation. It's going to work for this one. Yes, exactly. The power is still the power. Yes, it is still the power. Thank God it's still the power. I mentioned how large your family was and that we've had so many members of your family with us over the years. Just a couple of years ago you lost the patriarch of the family, Pops Winan. Tell me how the family is doing. Yes. You know, we’re doing great. A few years before that, I lost my second eldest brother. I shouldn't say "lost," because we know where they are. But he went on to be with the Lord, and that was rough. That was really rough, Ron. I remember my sister asking me the next morning, "Cece, how are we going to make it without Ronald?" Because we had never lost a sibling. I said, "Debbie, I don't know. I don't know but God knows, and we're going to take each day at a time." And God has just been faithful. He took us through, and he continues to take us through, because that's a hard thing it's a thing that you will deal with for the rest of your life. But he will give you peace in the midst of sorrow. He'll carry you throughout tomorrow. You know, He's faithful. And the secret is to do just do today with Him. It's to do today with Him. But you know, I learned something. My father, before he went on to be with the Lord, when my brother took his last breath, I'll never forget, my father's first response was his hands went up, and he just began to worship the Lord. And that changed my life forever. And I tell people no matter what you're facing, keep your hands up. Yes, amen. Because when you worship Him, He'll become the comforter you need Him to become. And so my father went on to be with the Lord, and we miss him, but he was such a great man of God, and he told us, "You know what, I'm ready to go." We're like, "No, we don't want you to go." "Look, I'm ready to go and be with the Lord." So what can you do with that? Well, his legacy is in all of you, and in your music and what you're doing. Yes, yes, praise God for sure. I want to just talk for a second about your latest release, because these are songs of emotional healing. Emotional healing, yes. Tell me about this. You know what, a lady came up to me one morning after church. I had gotten out of service, and I was going to my car; and she just began to weep. And she says, "Cece, thank you so much." She was just crying. I'm like, "Okay, what are you thanking me for?" She said, "My sister, thank you so much, your music took her out of darkness. She was suffering with depression, contemplating suicide, and I began to just play your music for her. And I just want you to know that it just transformed her life." And she was just weeping, and the Lord put on my heart right then, "Cece, create a CD that will bring people out of darkness into the light." And I'm reminded of David, when Saul was visited by all the evil spirits. When David came and he played under the anointing of Jesus, under the anointing of God, should I say, the evil spirits had to leave, and so there is a true anointing that will break every yoke. And so this CD was created just for those who are going through suffering and those who are dealing with depression. And the feedback has just been amazing, because people need to be reminded that God is with you. He promised never to leave you or forsake you, and He's faithful to His promises. And music is like a heavenly language. You know, it just speaks to our hearts in such an amazing way. You're going to sing a song called, "Comforter," today. Tell me about that. Yes, well, wow, what can I say? God proves to be the comforter that He is. It doesn't matter what situation you're going through, we've had a lot of people who have lost everything because of all the storms that are going on. So much. Yeah, they've lost loved ones. They've lost everything they've worked for. And they need to be reminded that God is with you, and it doesn't matter how bad your situation is, He's able to turn it all the way around. You know, the same message that we try to give to the young people, the conference that is going on this year. And I want to remind people to log on to alwayssistersforeverbrothers.com, so they can get information about the conference. They can be there, too. We need people to register. We need people to donate, because a lot of these kids, you know what; they need to understand that God loves them. Because even through the storms like I said, a lot of these children are being misplaced. Yes. We forget the effect it has on kids as well. We need people to donate so that these kids, a lot of the kids can’t afford registration, and we can't turn a child away. They need to understand, that there is a Father who loves you and who will comfort you. And who’s making provision. Yes. Will make provision for you. So comforter, that's what the song is all about. I'm going to let you go over and get ready to sing while I tell folks how they can get a hold of this. The CD is called, as we said, Songs of Emotional Healing. This is available where ever music is sold. For more with Cece, we want you to know also, we have an exclusive web only interview. You can watch that by logging on to CBN.com. Just click on, In the Green Room link, and you'll find it there. But right now, please welcome Cece Winans as she sings, "Comforter." "Hallelujah, thank you for loving me . . . ." They ate scraps of food from the dump and tried not to get bitten by the rats. That's when you built them a new home and set up a small clothing business near the market for Kitty's grandmother. You rescued them from hunger and fear. So please watch for this mailing and send in your pledge. This year millions will know . . . . The love and saving power of Jesus Christ. And that only happens, because you were there.
