What is greatness? It's not what you think it is. I float like a butterfly. I sting like a bee. The secret of true greatness. There is no other way. Plus . . . . I'm a convict. I'm a thief. I'm a liar. How letters from a stranger changed his life. I'm reading these letters and saying, "Why would this man be telling me he loves me?" Well, welcome to The 700 Club. What is it about the water that politicians drink? What happens to them, the blindness that comes about, these continuing scandals? The scandal of Congressman Anthony Weiner has Americans talking about Internet relationships. They're asking the question, "Is Internet sex the same thing as cheating on your spouse?" Kristi? I say yes. But anyway, people also want to know what steps they can take to prevent themselves from falling into one of these risky relationships. Andrea Garrett has the story. It's not so much Congressman Weiner's professional life, but his home life that has people talking these days. Did he commit adultery by sending suggestive photos to women on Twitter? And is Internet sex or exchanging sexually charged e-mails and photos truly cheating even though it's not physical? Sexting and Internet photos and the things we've been hearing about lately in the news are all definitely infidelity. Whenever you betray the covenant that you have in marriage, where you're going outside of the marriage for some kind of sexual need that is not involving your partner, that's infidelity. Experts say if the question is, "Would you text it, post it, send it with your spouse looking over your shoulder?" If the answer is no, then you're cheating. The rule of thumb that I tell all couples when they're talking to me in marital therapy is that if there is anything you would do where you have a question in your mind, if you partner saw that behavior, whether that's over your shoulder on the Internet, whether that's something you're doing on your phone, if there's any guilt in that, any secrecy in that, anything that you would do that would prevent them from seeing that, then that is something you should not do. Many Americans believe emotional betrayal is just as bad as physical betrayal and demonstrates a clear unfaithfulness. In a Pew Internet survey, 15 percent of adults said they had received a sexually suggestive nude or nearly nude photo or video on their cell phone. Six percent said they had sent such a text. In the 18 to 29 demographic, the number rose to 31 percent and 13 percent. It's easy to meet new people or find old friends in the age of Facebook and Twitter. Some argue, though, that this new age has also blurred the lines between flirting and infidelity and opened the door to much heartache. But there are warning signs to watch out for. How often are you talking to this person? How long are you talking? Are you getting emotionally involved? Are you beginning to fantasize? These are all real indicators. There's opportunity in social media that's very easy, anytime, anywhere, any person you can get a hold of. There's anonymity, at least perceived anonymity, thinking that you're not being seen or you're not going to get caught, even though there are ways to trace that, obviously, and then there is access, easy access. You can do it anywhere, anytime. Some Christians point to the scripture, where Jesus said it's not just actions. "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:28) So, how are men and women supposed to live up to that scripture in the age of Facebook and Twitter? Two things are very important. You have to get an accountability partner. You have to become accountable to someone. And secondly, all of your electronics have to be an open book, your phone, your computer. Everything has got to be open with no secret codes. And your family then becomes privy to everything that you're doing. Can a relationship that's been tarnished by Internet sex survive? It's very difficult, but, yes, they can be reconciled. What happens is if the family, the couple goes through this, they can be stronger than ever. That's the wonderful thing. But they need a great amount of counseling, accountability, and to be able to work through it to move forward. Andrea Garrett, CBN News. We still don't know what's causing the politicians to get into this trap so much. These are high profile guys, and they ought to know that they're in a glass bubble. They're being watched all the time. It breaks your heart. We had a congressman here in the second district of Virginia a couple of cycles ago, and a dear friend, a wonderful man. Somehow he was on the telephone looking for men. You just say, "What in the world is wrong with you?" He was such a guy. I don't understand it. Do you think it's a power thing? Do you think that when these men or these people get in these positions, its power, and they think that they're invincible, they can do whatever? I think they've got high testosterone, or they wouldn't be in that job to begin with. There's something a little freaky about somebody who wants to be president. You have to be just slightly crazy to want to be president, and governor of a state, and all that. And, yes, there's a power trip, and they say that it's the ultimate aphrodisiac. Women are throwing themselves. But this Facebook stuff, this Weiner, nobody was throwing themselves at him. He was throwing himself just out on the air. It's just crazy. It's an exhibitionism. I don't know what it is. But some psychologist is going to do a better job than I do in explaining it. But nevertheless, it is power. But I think it is wrapped up in the ego and the type of person involved in this sort of thing. I think it's simple. I think it's lack of common sense. It's like when you get deaf, dumb, and blind, don't send something or text. Anytime you text or e-mail or on a phone call, just have the mindset that it's for the world to see, period. I'm pleased to report that I have a telephone. It doesn't have any pictures. It doesn't have any e-mail. It doesn't have any text picture. Good to know, Pat. It's a telephone. You talk on the telephone, you hang up. And that's it. Exactly. All right, we're done. Wendy Griffith has the rest of our top stories from the CBN Newsroom. Wendy. Pat, federal judges repeatedly raised questions about President Obama's health care overhaul. The law is being challenged in court. Opponents say it's unconstitutional for the law to require Americans to have health insurance or face penalties. All three judges on the panel of the 11th District Court of Appeals say they're uneasy with that requirement. They worry that if the law is upheld, it could open the door for Congress to require Americans to buy or do other things as well. I don't want them to force me to buy a Chevrolet or peaches or health care or anything. If this law is upheld, there are potentially no limits to congressional power. Twenty-six states are involved in this lawsuit challenging the new law. Pat. Well, this is an extension of the Commerce Clause. The thought was that the Commerce Clause allowed Congress to do just about anything they wanted to. During the New Deal, the courts allowed broad leeway of congressional action, including the famous one where they forced farmers in Nebraska to kill off their little pigs, so that they said they were in interstate commerce, and therefore they had to get the price of pork up; and the same thing with other agricultural commodities. Well, that was an emergency, and people were dying. But I don't think people are dying on account of health care. And forcing them to go buy insurance, we've never done that. The 11th Circuit is relatively conservative, and I'm glad they've got this case. And I congratulate those attorney generals. Attorney General Cuccinelli here in Virginia brought the case in what would be the 4th Circuit, and this is the 11th Circuit, in the Florida southeast area. It looks like it will go to the Supreme Court before it's finished. But it's one of those laws that's got to be overturned, and hopefully there will be enough senators and congressman that will just repeal the whole thing. It's a disaster. Wendy. Pat, another credit rating agency is warning the US government, "Get a handle on your debt problems or face a downgrade in your credit ratings." Fitch Ratings is the third ratings agency to issue such a warning, after Standard and Poors and Moody's. Fitch says if Congress and the White House don't reach an agreement on raising the debt ceiling, the US could lose its AAA credit rating. Exxon has discovered more than 700 million barrels of oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Officials says it's one of the largest discoveries in the last decade. It's the first one made from a new deep water well in the Gulf since last year's oil spill. Advocates of deep water drilling say the news should push the administration to speed up permits for offshore drilling. They say that the Gulf is a domestic source of energy and should be used to meet US energy needs. Well, it's another day of blistering heat on the East Coast. Record temperatures are already blamed for at least five deaths. And eastern cities from Washington, DC, to Boston will see temperatures near 100 degrees again today. In southern cities like Savannah, Georgia, even poisonous snakes are finding shade where they can. And in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, thousands of fish are dying as the sun scorches their water and removes too much oxygen. Triple digit temps in Lubbock, Texas, have construction workers finding creative ways to work around the heat. It starts getting hot around 10 o'clock, 10:30, 11:00, until quitting time, which is four o'clock for us. It's pretty hot. Like right now, for example, we try to work on the west side in the mornings. And if we've anything to do on the east side, we'll work there in the afternoon. Meteorologists are also calling this spring our most extreme on record for precipitation, tornadoes, and wildfires. And Pat, I decided to wait last night until the sun went down to go out for a walk, but it was still like a sauna outside. Well, I did a walk earlier this morning. It was showing about a 70-some degrees temperature. But the humidity is just unconscionable, and it's getting very hot. It will cross 100, and we warn you, stay out. Stay out of the heat. Don't try to push it. Don't try to go out and do jogging and all that sort of thing. Your body will do just well if you just leave it alone for a few days. Exactly. And stay out of the garden. I'm out of the garden, but I did go out early, early this morning just to water it. It was cool? It was cool. It was lovely. I stayed out for a second, came back in. Well, I had to walk Blue out and around; and he and I have a little walk early in the morning. So it was okay. That's good. And I'm going to do a little horseback riding. But the horse is the one that will do the work. You're not going to horseback ride today, though? Yes. I'll test the temperature, but again, the horse does the work. All I have to do . . . . That poor little horse. . . . . is sit on him and be nice. Okay. All right. Wendy. Pat, the Federal Communications Commission is set to get rid of the Fairness Doctrine. The Fairness Doctrine required broadcasters to present multiple sides of controversial issues in an honest, equitable, and balanced way. The FCC chairman and broadcasters say it could chill free speech. Craig Parshall of the National Religious Broadcasters told CBN News the doctrine was a bad idea in general and for Christian broadcasters in particular. The only station to lose its license under the reign of terror of the Fairness Doctrine was a Christian broadcasting station. Now, would it hurt Christians more than general market broadcasters? We think so, because if you have someone who, let's say, takes the sanctity of life perspective, then they have to bring in someone who's pro-abortion. If you have someone who's preaching the Gospel, do you have to bring in an imam if the demand is made from the local mosque? Those are intractable questions and intractable problems. The FCC found the doctrine unconstitutional and unenforceable back in 1987, but it had remained on the books until now. I guess, Pat, this is good news for us. Well, it's good. I'm astounded that Obama selected FCC would be making that move, because there are people in Congress that wanted to revive that Fairness Doctrine. The idea was, and being a broadcaster, I know full too well, if we would say something on the air that somebody would disagree with, then they would say, "Under the Fairness Doctrine, we are supposed, at your expense, to have an equal voice. So you've got to give us time to spout on," whatever it is they want to say. Well, you talk about a chilling effect. So if somebody is preaching the Gospel or they're saying things in the news people didn't agree with, or whatever it was, the Fairness Doctrine complaint would be chilling to free speech. It was a horrible thing, and it was put in primarily to silence a number of religious broadcasters back in the ‘30s that were saying things that the prevailing New Deal leaders didn't like. Well, it was horrible. But if the FCC revokes it as unconstitutional, I say hallelujah. The sun is going to go backwards. Wendy. Pat, a community in Raleigh, North Carolina, is calling six teenagers heroes. A car full of passengers crashed onto the side of the road and burst into flames. The teens rushed to the rescue, but they say God is the one who deserves the glory. You heard this thing just hit the side of the ground. It was just such a loud smack. This is what's left of a Dodge Neon after it crashed into a tree going 70 miles an hour on Williford Road. North Carolina state troopers say all four passengers would have died if it had not been for the quick thinking of the group of teenagers from Southern Wayne High School. They were swimming in nearby Mill Creek when they heard a loud crash. We heard tires squealing, and then all of the sudden we heard a big boom. And we all got out of the water and we ran up, bathing suits, no shoes, no shirt, ran up, and we ran past the car. because we couldn't see it, because it was actually wrapped in vines in the trees. Eighteen-year-old Jeremy Jones and his five friends ripped the poison ivy vines off the car. What they saw next was shocking. We pulled this first guy out, and he's all bloodied up, and his girlfriend comes out, and then another girl comes out. Then they said there was another guy, but he wasn't wearing a seat belt. He was underneath the car that was rolled up over the tree, and there was a dead log on top of him. That's when three of the teens lifted the car and the log off the driver. Moments later, the care caught on fire. And we thought he was dead, and he said, "Huh!" and he started breathing, and we got the log off of him, and we toted him out to the road, and the car caught on fire. The teens managed to rescue all four passengers before first responders arrived on the scene. Although they're considered heroes in most everyone's eyes, they believe God definitely had a hand in the rescue. I just don't want to take the glory for it. None of us do. Who gets glory? God. He put us in the right place at the right time. Wow, He sure did. What an amazing story Pat. Heroes; the next generation. There's a lot more hope than people realize, and those young people, God bless them. God bless them. I tell you what, that was a really cool story. At the risk of their own lives they rescue people. It is beautiful. And they say God put us there. We're servants of God. To God be the glory. Well up next, we're going to meet two special moms who actually put the Tea Party movement on the map. Before all of this I was clipping coupons and looking at my spreadsheets to figure out where can I get the best deals, and I still do that. To see the corruption in Washington, DC, is just astounding. See how they put their mom skills to work in politics. That's coming up on The 700 Club. Plus our chat room is open. For who? For you. See if you have a question for Pat because he loves your questions. All you have to do is log on to CBN.com because we're going to Bring It Online later. Go up there and give them an opportunity to laugh. Tomorrow. Well, it is said if you want to get something done get the women involved. Wow. Well, what happens when a couple of stay-at-home moms set their sights on politics? In this case, you get the birth of Tea Party groups. Here's David Brody with a story from Atlanta. The Tea Party built its success by focusing on a strong foundation, support from average Americans. We can trace those beginnings by heading to the Atlanta area, home to Jenny Beth Martin and Amy Kremer. They may live 30 minutes away from each other, but they share a lot in common. Both women used to be stay-at-home moms who now run the show for two influential national Tea Party organizations. Jenny Beth Martin is co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, a group with more than 3,000 local chapters. I really was a mom. I was struggling to make ends meet, taking care of my kids. I anticipated being a stay-at-home mom, not a working mom who travels the country and talks about economic issues and political issues. Yet here she is named in 2010 as one of Time magazine's most influential people. Then she played a pivotal role behind major Tea Party rallies. Now the focus is on 2012. And the goal? Train candidates and establish get-out-the-vote efforts in every state. It plays well with the organizational skills that she learned as a mom. A lot of what I do is coordinating, and at home that's what I was doing. I love making spreadsheets and making lists. Before all of this I was clipping coupons and looking at my spreadsheets to figure out where can I get the best deals, and I still do that. Twenty minutes away is her counterpart, Amy Kremer, a former Delta flight attendant and now the very busy chairwoman of the nationally powerful Tea Party Express. She travels around about three weeks out of every month. I travel more now than when I was a flight attendant. Her group's focus? Endorsing conservative candidates and trying to knock off moderate senators like . . . . . . . . Olympia Snowe, Richard Lugar, Debbie Stabenow, and Ben Nelson. Look, we can have rallies until the end of time but in order to truly affect change, we need to change the players. To see the corruption in Washington, D.C., is just astounding. When Amy is home, this is her nerve center right here, a "live free or die" office if you will, upstairs. But it didn't used to be that way. For nearly two years, she waged her war at the kitchen table until her family got tired of it. To me and a lot of women, the kitchen is the heart of the home, so that's where we're most comfortable. And everything revolves in and around the kitchen, so it was only natural that it should be here. And it's only natural that in a country where the constitution begins with "We the People," there are two moms who believe they are fulfilling their constitutional duty. I considered myself a Republican for so long, and now I just consider myself an American first, and I need to be looking beyond the party making sure that what the person is standing for is good for America. But what about moms and others who care deeply about their country but don't necessarily want it to rule them. You don't have to step into it and allow it to consume your life. I mean, it could be if you truly want to get involved, do it by starting a small book group or a constitution study group or something just with some other moms. And both ladies will tell you that all of this would not even be possible without the hand of God. God's important in my life. He is. And I was just having this conversation the other day about how I don't wear it on my sleeve, but He is very much a part of my life. One verse that always stands out for me is, "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He'll make straight your path." Sometimes I don't know exactly what I'm doing, and I just reach down, and I have that faith in God that if I rely on God, I'm going to figure out the right thing to do. So far, so good for the Tea Party moms of Atlanta, Georgia. David Brody, CBN News. Thanks David. I believe God loves America. I believe He remembers the sacrifice of past generations and how they stood up and how this country is being a beacon of freedom around the world. He doesn't want this country to go into chaos. It's heading that way, but is the Tea Party His answer? It would be. It's almost like the humor of God, but he's going to bring a bunch of housewives in to change the government. Isn't that great? Well, what I think is wonderful is women, we rock, especially as moms. We can do anything Pat. We can put stuff in order. That's right. I can . . . . You have nothing to say to that one. . . . . bring on the bacon and fry it up in the pan. Never let you forget you're a man. Fry it up in the pan. Come on, brother. (Singing): "‘Cause I'm a woman." All right, what you got? Up next, a biker with a big chip on his shoulder. I would put this persona on that I am this tough guy. And at that point in time, I was doing my best to live that image. But the real Billy was hid inside. See how a series of love letters actually brought this tough guy to his knees. You never know when, but thieves can steal your identity. Billy even ended up doing hard time because of that reputation. But while he was in prison, Billy began receiving love letters from a stranger that changed his image forever. When the first big biker on a loud Harley-Davidson pulled up, I looked up at him, and I said that's what I want to be right there. As a child I knew it. Billy Rivers love for motorcycles started when he was a boy. His drug use started shortly after that. By the time he was 17 he traded a normal teenage dreams for motorcycle gangs and a needle full of heroin. My dream in life was just another needle with heroin or cocaine. And then as the newness started wearing off of this. then I started looking for the drugs not necessarily for the recreation part of it but because my body was telling me that I had to have it. It was my everyday thought. He was part of a notorious motorcycle gang and thought he had it all. I was pretty much a social outcast of society at that point. In the drug world and in the motorcycle world, I was accepted. I had really wanted. All I had to do was go steal in the drugs would be there. As long as I could steal enough to support that habit. And I knew that there was another side of life but I had no idea how to get out of this. His life of drugs and crime landed him in prison for 11 years. So I would put this persona on that I am this tough guy. And at that point in time I was doing my best to live that image. But the real Billy was hid inside. When Christian ministers came to the prison Billy sat and listened. Anything to get out of his cell. But believing in Jesus didn't fit his image. And like I told one preacher, I said, "If I can't see Him, and I can't touch Him, and I can't talk to Him, you're never going to make me believe that He's real." He said, "I'm not going to give up on you Billy." One day a visiting preacher passed Billy's name on to John Capitono, a chapter leader of the Christian Motorcycle Association. And I started receiving mail, letters from this man John Capitrono saying, "I don't know you. but I love you." I'm reading these letters and saying, "Wow, is he drunk? Or why would this man be telling me he loves me? I'm an ex-heroin addict. I'm a convict. I'm a thief. I'm a liar. Why in the world would this man be telling me he loves me?" When he was released from prison, Billy agreed to meet with John. Johnny did something that just totally showed me the love that he had been talking about, that all the preachers had been talking about. Not knowing me, he opened his wallet up and pulled out $60. He said, "Billy, go buy yourself some new clothes." And I said, "Why? What do you want in return?" He said, "For you to understand the love of Jesus Christ. That's what I want in return." Soon after, Billy visited a Christian Motorcycle Association meeting. The people he met amazed him. When I walked up into their meeting and said, "I've just got out of prison, ex heroin addict," I was perfectly honest with everybody. "I'm the lowest of the low, but I heard that you people love people like that." And they said, "Yes we do. Come on in." When all these people kept showing me the same amount of love and even more than the next one and saying, "You know what? I love you man. I don't even know you, but I love you." I started believing this, and I said, "Well, why are these people treating me like this? I'm so accustomed to the drug world. Why are these people so different? I got on my knees in my room at home, closed the door by myself, and I said, "Lord, my life's Yours. All my life I've known dirt, filth, stealing and lying. And, Lord, the only thing that appeals to me these days, as of right now, is you. I hear you now, and I can even touch you because I have your living word here in my hand." And that's when my life changed. The Lord used 2nd Corinthians 5:17 to let me know, "You're not the same anymore. I own you. You are Mine. I have you under My wings. I love you. I forgive you of everything you've ever done. Old things are passed away and behold, all things are become new." And I said, "Lord, that's me." Billy lives a new life today. He still rides motorcycles but no longer with a gang. He's the chaplain for the New Orleans chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association. I have never experienced anything like this, and I would never give it up for anything that I would ever experience. Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life, so being a servant today for Jesus Christ is the most wealthy thing. It's the most blessed miracle that I could ever imagine in my life. God's awesome. If any man is in Christ he is a new creation. Love, love wins. Billy couldn't understand how anybody could love him. How could you love somebody like that? Heroin addict, drugged out, thief, prisoner, felon. God says I love you. You can't get away from love. I want to say to you right now God loves you. I can't say anything anymore clearer than that. God loves you. You say, "You don't understand, He can't possibly love me. Yes He can. But He doesn't know what I've done. Yes, He does. He knows everything you've done. And what He does, He sees you as you can be in Christ. He sees what He can do with you if you turn your life over to Him. He sees the perfect you, the happy you, the productive you, the free you, not the person in bondage, not the person in slavery. He sees somebody free and rejoicing in Him. He sees a child that He loves as part of His eternal Kingdom, and He sees eternity way, way down the road, and He sees you as part of it. Do you want to be part of His plan? You say, "Oh no, I don't want that. I'd rather go to Hell." Would you really? I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I believe if you were given an opportunity, and I'm giving it to you right now, that you would choose life not death. And I offer you life as part of the family of God for eternity. You want that? All right, don't go anywhere. I want you to bow your head right now, and I want you to say these words with me, and I want you to mean them in your heart, that you're going to surrender yourself to the love of one who's loved you from the foundation of the earth. Pray these words, bow your head, pray with me, say the words as I say them and mean them in your heart. "Lord Jesus," that's right, say it. "Lord Jesus, you know me Lord. You know the life I've lived. You know what's going on in my heart. You know the fear. You know the turmoil. You know the abuse. And, Lord, I thank you that You love me, and so I surrender to Your love right now. And I give you my heart, and I take you as my Lord and as my Savior. And I pray, Lord Jesus that You will come into my heart, live in me, and from this moment on I will live for You, and I am yours. Thank you Lord." And I want to pray for you right now where you are, "Father, in Jesus' name, let the power and the anointing of your Holy Spirit come into the lives of people now in Jesus' name, be filled with His power. Thank you Father. Amen." You say, "I did it." Yes you did, you did it. It's wonderful. A new creature in Christ. If any man is in Christ, the Bible says, he's a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold all has become new. I want to start you out with something, give you a chance to say what's next? I have a little packet here. I think it will be a big help to you. Inside is a CD, it's got 73 minutes of teaching, very concentrated teaching about what the Bible has to say about what you just did and what will happen if you commit an act of sin. What God will do? Nearly 22% of abortions in the United States are performed on Latino women. A new billboard campaign is launching in Los Angeles to highlight the issue. The sign reads, the most dangerous place for Latino is in the womb. It's taking aim at the abortion industry accusing it of targeting Latino women. Abortion is a big business. Organizations like Planned Parenthood make a lot of money from abortions. And they're clearly targeting our communities, the Latino community. They have clinics throughout the country in Latino communities, barrios, and that's really the reason why the rates are so high. Estimates show nearly 2.5 million people will see the new billboard campaign. Perhaps worst of all, it was concocted in an undemocratic process, in locked rooms in the middle of the night. Obama care was passed and rammed down the throats of the American people. You're supposed to pay attention to everything but if it shows up with some red ink you better do something. One comedian takes the road less traveled. Go up there and give them an opportunity to laugh. Tomorrow. Have you ever asked yourself, okay what makes someone truly great? Well, you know it may not be what you think. In fact, true greatness is counterintuitive. And as Pat explains in this segment from the Secret Kingdom, you'll see what greatness really is. Greatness. What is greatness? It was a man in Russia who was the great King. He was called Peter the Great. He is the one who westernized Russia. Was he really great? There was a Macedonian general, one of the smartest generals they say has ever lived. His name was Alexander. And he was known as Alexander the Great, yet he drank himself to death when he was maybe 31-32 years old. Was he great? We had a boxer named Mohammed Ali, Cassius Clay, who said "I float like a butterfly. I sting like a bee. I'm the greatest." Was Mohammed Ali who now has Parkinson's disease, was he the greatest? Were these men really great? They like to think of themselves as great. Napoleon the great. They weren't great. There's only one person who's ever really been great, and His name is Jesus. He told us the secret of greatness. His disciples were arguing among themselves as to who was the greatest. They were fighting and they say what if you had a couple of kids squabbling about who was the best basketball player, whether it was Lebron James, or Michael Jordan. And they were fighting each other over who was the greatest. Well His disciples were fighting among who was the greatest. He took a child and he set him in their midst and said, "See this little child? He that becomes like a little child, he'll be great in the Kingdom." What is it about the little child that makes him great? I'll tell you, the thing about a child that is so interesting is, his ears are always open. He's always asking questions. He has an inquiring mind. Why is the grass green daddy? Why is the sun up daddy? What happened to the moon daddy? What about the stars daddy? Why did those dogs walk that way instead of the other way daddy? And they just keep asking. They say that a child between the ages of four and five will learn more than an older child will learn during four years of college. Their minds are open to listen. And another thing about a child is that they're trusting. A child has to rely on his mother and father to feed him, close him, house him. They just take it for granted that mommy and daddy are going to take care of me. You'd hate to have a child always worried about whether he's going to get the next meal. Now there are some in the Third World that are that way but certainly here in America, in the average family, children rely on their parents. Certainly little baby does. A baby doesn't sit around having discussions with his fellows, "You reckon our folks are going to feed us today?" I mean, he just yells, and he gets a bottle. You know how it is. They expect it, because they're trusting, and that's what God says, "I want those who are trusting in Me, who will rely on Me as a source of their blessing." And Jesus also expanded on this concept of greatness. He said, "The kings of this earth exalt themselves, and men call them benefactors." They exalt themselves for greatness. But he said, "It's not supposed to be that way with you. He that is the least among you, let him be the greatest of all." He that is the slave of others, he said, "I am the son of God, yet I am with you as one who serves." And you recall those days before he was crucified when they were in the upper room, and He took a basin, and He knelt down, and He began to wash the feet of his disciples. He says, "If I'm your Master and Lord, you see what I'm doing, you should wash the feet of your other disciples. I am taking the role of a slave." He that is the greatest is the bond slave of all. That sounds kind of crazy. Most people don't want to be servants. They don't want to be servants. Who wants to be in the role of a servant? A lot of folks, certainly 100 years ago our African-American friends were pretty much consigned to menial tasks in the kitchen of the world. They don't want that, and I don't blame them. They want to get educated, they want to sit in the executive suite. They want to be the CEO's and leaders and generals, and they are. But when are you really great? You're great when you are a servant. Now you and I don't want be servants, do we? Well, think of the greatest inventor. Who would you say is the greatest inventor? Well, you'd say Thomas Edison probably is the greatest inventor. Why is he great? He's great, because he served the most people. You think about Henry Ford. He was a great industrialist. He had his flaws, but he was a great industrialist. Why? Because he served people with cheap transportation. And the more people he served, the greater he was. So also probably servants who honestly feel that their job it is to serve the public. If we want to be great, and I'll tell you, if the Church wants to show itself strong in a sinful world, the best way we can do it is to serve the poor and the needy. If we go out and take the role of a servant, and we serve others. Now, business schools are teaching servant leadership. That's one of the problems with American automobile manufacturers is the guys in the front office, the big shots, wouldn't listen to the workers. They knew it all. I mean, they were the pros. They would be experts. "Don't tell me how to run an automobile company; I've been here for 30 years." Well it was tragic when General Motors went bankrupt, and we've lost our place among the nations and among the industrial titans of the world, because our leaders wouldn't listen. They wouldn't listen. They were too proud. And along with this comes humility, because a child is humble. A little child is humble. And the Lord said, "Except you humble yourselves and become like a little child, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God." There's something about being humble and listening to somebody else. Teach me. The really smart people, the ones who really are the leaders in industry are the ones who are always learning and always saying, "Teach me. Are there any new techniques? Tell me, how do you do it? How do they do it? Tell me the new way. How does it go?" And the ones who are ossified and say, "Oh no, no, we've always done it this way." They'll be extinct. What God is saying to us, "If you want to be a leader, serve." And if you want to be the greatest, you be the bond slave of all, and you look back to Jesus. What did he do? He gave his life for everyone. He is the greatest who ever lived, because He served more people. He served the generations yet to be born. He served His contemporaries. He served everybody. His death won a place to Heaven for all of us. That's why He is the greatest, not some general, not some king, not some prizefighter but Jesus Christ. And He told us how we can reach greatness, and there's no other way. And you have a servant's heart. Well that was some good stuff. I tell you. I'm digging it. Well, it's principles from the Word of God. It's the eternal and lasting. The Lord showed me some great principles, and I wrote a book called, The Secret Kingdom. These are teachings from The Secret Kingdom. And I love them. I mean, they really do, they stick with me, and I know that stick with you. Listen, we want to continue to bring more segments from The Secret Kingdom in the weeks to come, and if you enjoy watching the segments as much as I do, and many of us do around the world in country, all you have to do is log on to CBN.com. And you know what's so cool about that, you can not only watch it but you can share it with friends. That is what is so neat. People who've missed it on today's program, log on to CBN.com. There somewhere a button that says share, and share it. Change your life. Change your life. Change your life, change your business, change your religious organization, change your political organization, change everything you do. Well today Tony an Ali have a comfortable life in a beautiful home. Through good times and bad the couple has stuck with a financial strategy that has never failed them. And it's straight from, you guessed it, The Secret Kingdom. Ali and Tony Iorio have been faithful titers for years. That is the first line of trust I believe. So by trusting Him with your finances, trusting him with the money end of it that He then blesses you with all the other needs that you might have. They became CBN partners at the Founders level. CBN's outreach has touched my family, and it's truly amazing how they touched so many lives and helped so many people. When you tithe then you give, it's going to good use. They walk their talk, so they actually do what they say they're gonna do with their ministry; that is to save souls, reach people's lives and share with them the Word of the Lord. We've continued to tithe, and we've seen how it's helped us grow as a family. The Iorio's have learned to trust God with everything. Everything belongs to the Lord anyway, and so to give to Him is reassuring me then that He will take care of all my other needs. You have to give your problems over to the Lord. Once I learned that, it's like a weight off my shoulders. God will pull you through whatever is your challenge and whatever your needs might be and knows that He will meet our needs; that's the lesson I've learned and continue to learn. What a great example of doing what God wants you to do! By the way folks, if you want to be blessed and you want to bless others, and we appreciate what you're doing, I invite you to join the 700 Club. That's $20 a month, 65 cents a day, that's what it is. If you join we want to send you something called, Life Beyond the Grave. This thing is changing people's lives. I mean, they see it and they say, "Wow!" Yeah, I mean seriously, no joke. In fact, I'm going to let you talk in the second, but we actually have a woman who wrote in a really quick letter from Memphis. Go ahead. She said, "I just finished watching my copy of Life Beyond the Grave. This is the most moving DVD program I have seen. CBN hit the ball out of the park with this powerful content." She said, "I repented of my sins and my heart opened to the Lord. This program should be made available for everyone to view and give themselves to Jesus." Well, it is, so talk about it. It's available if you join the Thousand Club, will give you five copies of this thing. You can give them to your friends. It'll change their lives. You don't have to preach to them, just say, "Look, here's some very interesting stories about people who died and came back to life again, and they've told you what they've done. They've been to Heaven, they've been to Hell. You say, "Wow, let's see this." And whew, into the player it goes. Call in and participate. We're trying this summer to line up some stations to put this thing as a primetime special. I think it's going to touch a lot of lives. I don't think, I know. Okay. Well, let's go. All right, it's time to Bring It On with all of your questions that you have logged on to CBN.com with. Here's one from Kristi, but it's not for me. "Last year I discovered my husband was having an online affair. We've reconciled but I'm still tormented by his deception. How can I get over this pain and to completely forgive him, yet not be fooled by him again? I think you've got to have trust. Better to be trusting. Jesus forgave you and what you need to do is just spend time thinking of Jesus. Just think of Jesus. Think of what He did. Think of that sacrifice. "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they were doing." While He was on the cross, and they were killing Him, He was still for giving them. So, what happens, you've got a husband who's been seduced if you will buy pictures on the Internet or by some floozy out there with some sexual needs, and she's going after your husband. I mean, hey, forgive him. Jesus Christ forgives you, and he said to the tormentors, "Father forgive them." If He can forgive them. So focus on Jesus, and that will help you to get forgiveness. All right. All right, Kin says, "How can I forgive myself? I had to put my mother in a home for dementia and a broken hip. I've been taking care of her for years, but I just can't anymore, and I feel awful. You know something. You need to have a life. Your mother's got dementia. I don't know if she's into Alzheimer's. It's one of the most tragic things in the world. But those people, don't know what's going on. If you've got somebody who can give her 24 hour care, she's got a broken hip, she needs medical attention or semi-medical attention, you can't do it. You can't ruin your life. Don't feel guilty about it. You did the right thing. Get on with your life. Open the door. Get out and meet people and enjoy yourself. It's a shame about your mother but, that's just one of those things. You've done the best thing you could do for her was to give her professional care. Yes, but even in a professional care, visit her. Visit her, talk to her, love her . . . . Oh sure, visit her. But just don't neglect her. It breaks your heart when people go to their loved ones, and the loved one does not recognize them. They don't know who is. Alzheimer's is a hideous, awful thing. We've got to do something to find out the answer to Alzheimer's. But it's like a living death. But nevertheless, you shouldn't kill yourself just because that's happened to somebody else. I think we have time for one more real quick question. Go ahead. Christine says, "I keep having dreams where I am casting out demons in the name of Jesus. Why am I having these dreams and what do they mean? Well, it just may be that God is giving you some anointing to do just that. Try it sometime. Pray and be sure you're prayed up. Don't go into battle with the enemy without the right weapons. You know, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and all these other things. sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Make sure you go with the appropriate weapons. See what God has for you. I caution you don't get into a ministry of casting out demons. The Bible says he who seeks evil, evil will come to him. Don't do it. Well tomorrow, the extreme Seal experience. See what it takes to be part of this elite force. Well, today we leave you with these words from the Psalms . . . . . . . . "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable." See tomorrow, bye-bye. Here at CBN, we see amazing things happen when we stand together. That's why we want to say thank you to the thousands of you . . . . . . . . who recently pledged to join the 700 Club. Your monthly gift makes it possible to bring crucial help to those who need it most. You help heal the sick, feed the hungry . . . . . . . . and preach the Gospel across America and throughout the world. You've brought health and hope to people in desperate need. And changed their lives forever. Young Tsun Tsun was beaten by his abusive father since he was a small boy. When their house was destroyed in an earthquake, Tsun Tsun left his home and built a mud hut to live in. That's when you rescued Tsun Tsun building him a new house and providing him with meals and an education. You changed his life and gave him hope for the future. So please watch for this mailing and send in your pledge. This year millions will know . . . . The love and saving power of Jesus Christ. And that only happens, because you were there.
