Father Walks Into Jungle and Never Returns…

Six-year-old, Pratap, lost both of his parents when he was very young.

Pratap explained, "My mother died and my father went to the jungle and never came back.  I miss my parents very much."

Then a pastor told him about a children's home in a near-by city sponsored by CBN’s Orphan’s Promise.  The pastor gave Pratap a train ticket so he could go there. 

Pratap didn't know what to expect as he traveled to the children's home, but as soon as he arrived, he was welcomed into his new family.  He was enrolled in a Christian school, where he’s learning math and reading.  He’s also learning that God cares about him.

With a big smile, Pratap said, "I love listening to all the stories about Jesus.

I love my new parents, the good food, and my new, clean clothes.  Thank you so much!"
