Jean Hinson: 'Hallelujah! I'm Healed'
CBN.com “I had taken food over to a neighbor’s house. I’d just walked in the door, and my hands began to shake with the keys. I just wielded into the floor,” says Jean Hinson.
She continues, “And so they decided to call the rescue squad and have someone to come pick me up. When I got to the hospital, they told me I’d had a stroke.”
Her doctor, Dr. Shobha Farias, adds, “Her entire left side of the body -- including the left side of the face -- was completely paralyzed. She had absolutely no strength whatsoever.”
“I was in rehabilitation for 30 days in Wilmington, North Carolina. When I started to walk myself after I’d been in rehabilitation, I realized that I was still having problems with my left hip,” Jean says. “I would walk sideways and my hip would go up and down like it was out of joint. I was in pain and I was thinking, Am I going to be like this for the rest of my life? I’m so young.
“But I knew that Jesus would bring me out of it. All my trust was in Him. Jesus had died for my healing, according to I Peter 2:24, ‘Who took my sins, who bear my sicknesses and by His stripes, I was healed.’ I believed that God would take care of me. I didn’t know how He would do it, but I knew He would.
“So I just happened to be sitting down watching The 700 Club and Gordon gave this word of knowledge.”
Gordon Robertson said: “There’s someone with a hip condition where your pelvis is misaligned, and it’s tilted down to the left. Your right hip is elevated up. God’s just restoring that. That hitch, that limp in your walk is gone now. You’re going to be able to walk normally.”
Jean recalls, “So I got up out of the chair. I just stood up. 'God, that’s my healing.' There was warmth that came all over my body and down the center of my back. I actually felt it when that place slipped into alignment like it was supposed to be. I knew Jesus was there, and Jesus was healing my body. And I began to walk and walk and walk and praise God. Every symptom was Gone. Hallelujah. I’m healed.”
“Her recovery was rather immediate and complete. I attribute this to God’s grace and His glory,” says Dr. Farias.
“I learned that no matter what you go through, God is always with you, He’s always there, and He will always be with us,” says Jean. “He will always comfort us, and He will always see us through. My encouragement is not to give up. Don’t ever give up on God. Put your trust in His Word and when He said it in His word, believe and speak what He said and it will come to pass."
