The Miracle Medicine

Little Alan of Peru is like boys everywhere. He loves playing -- especially playing in the dirt. But Alan and his mother didn’t realize that his playtime was making him very sick. Olga, his mother, says, “For two weeks he didn’t have an appetite. He had headaches and couldn’t sleep.” She was growing concerned. “I thought a lot about him. I was very sad because my son was sick.” Nine-year-old Alan was suffering with intestinal parasites, which he got from the dirt and poor hygeine.
