Patrick Williams: The Seven Year Ache
CBN.com Patrick was injured when his truck was rear ended while sitting at a red light.
Patrick Williams' story in his own words:
“I came outside and got in my truck,” Patrick said. “I was right up here, not even ten minutes from the house. I was sitting there at the stop light. The only thing I had time to do was see him coming. His brakes failed and he hit me.”
“And I hit my head on the back window,” Patrick said.
“For seven years I was in pain from getting hit on the back of the head. I went to the VA hospital and nobody could find anything wrong. One day in November of 2006, I prayed and I prayed and I told myself I’d have to live with this. In November of 2006 I was watching The 700 Club when Gordon had a word.”
“There’s someone with pain in the neck and back and God is healing you right now,” Gordon said.
“And I sat up in my chair and I said, ‘Well, there’s a few more things he’s got to say,’” Patrick said.
“God’s giving you the ability to move and receive it,” Gordon said.
“And I said, ‘That’s me!’ I started praising the Lord, praising the Lord. ‘And I know this is for me, it’s for me. I’ve been in pain for seven years. It’s been too long,’” Patrick said.
“Nothing happened. Twenty minutes go by. I walk from the kitchen into the living room, and as I turned the corner, my neck went (clap, clap, clap!),” Patrick said.
“And all of a sudden, I could move and there was no pain. I didn’t call The 700 Club immediately, but I called my wife and I said, ‘Baby, guess what happened?’ We rejoiced and I waited a little longer. But then The 700 Club called me about 60 days later and asked me if I needed prayer. I said, ‘Yeah, but I’ve got something to tell you too!’’ Patrick said.
“God is awesome! I’m pain free now,” Patrick said.
