DRC Women Fight Back
A group of women demonstrated in the Democratic Republic of Congo's embattled city of Goma. They are angry about the ongoing campaign of rape being conducted by the government-backed Mai Mai militia.
Some women say their husbands have been tied up and forced to watch as they were brutally violated.
But the women of Goma are fighting back. They do not have weapons or political clout, but they are raising their voices in the hopes that someone will hear them and come to their rescue.
It's time for believers around the world to join the growing chorus of prayers by these women for the world to take notice and for God to bring peace to the DRC.
Click on the video above for the sights and sounds of the demonstration. It is short, but well worth watching.
