Religious Freedom Ambassador Nomination Update
President Obama first nominated Suzan Johnson Cook to be the new Religious Freedom Ambassador at the State Department LAST June. Whoa.
So, what's up with the nomination?
I just checked with the White House. Her nomination was just re-submitted earlier this month, to the Senate. It had been held up by a Senate Foreign Relations Committee vote.
We'll keep an eye on this for you.
