Donald Trump spoke exclusively to The Brody File backstage in Davenport Iowa Saturday night after his appearance with Jerry Falwell Jr. We were actually backstage interviewing Falwell Jr but once that interview was done, Trump gave us a minute of his time. Watch below.
Trump needs to be given credit for lasting this long on top of the pack. It’s no small feat especially considering his critics thought he’d be long gone by now. But it very well may be Trump who has the last laugh.

Donald Trump on the new Des Moines Register Poll showing him out in front with less than 48 hours to go before the Iowa Caucus: “It’s a good result and we’re really happy about it and with evangelicals we’re leading and that’s something that really made me happy, maybe even happier. I’m very happy about that.”

Actually (Fox News Anchor) Chris Wallace was interviewing me today, a little while ago and he said, ‘you’re beating everybody with evangelicals and I said I’m not surprised. They’re incredible people. “
Donald Trump on whether he’s going to win Iowa: “Well, we’re going to try. I tell you what; we’re going to try. The poll just came out and we’re leading. We’re going to try and if we do that I think it will be good for all of us, I must tell you. We’re going to do a really great job.
David Brody: “Those evangelicals could take you over the top?”
Donald Trump: “Well they’re fantastic people. We love them.”
