Mom Burnout

After having a few kids, Hannah Keeley found herself out of shape, overwhelmed, deep in debt, and surrounded by clutter. She knew something had to change when she found herself sobbing uncontrollably in the laundry pile. She shares, "When I realized no one was going to come in and rescue me, I decided to rescue myself." With God’s Word and bull-headed determination, Hannah was able to create a better life for herself. In fact, better than she ever imagined. Now, she helps moms everywhere do the same.

She is the founder of Mom Mastery University, a best-selling author of numerous books including Mom Fog and Crazy Blessed: 9 Steps to a Not-So-Normal Life, the host of the former PBS series Hannah, Help Me!, and a life coach. As America’s #1 Mom Coach, Hannah combines faith and psychology to help moms create radical transformation in their lives. She is also the founder of Covenant Coach Academy, training life coaches with faith-based strategies.

Hannah’s theme verse behind her coaching techniques is Romans 12:2: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

She has worked with thousands of moms to help them use God’s Word to overcome some of life’s biggest challenges. Hannah has helped women pay off over 1 million in debt, lose weight, rescue their marriages, overcome chronic illnesses, and more.  She currently lives near Richmond, Virginia with her husband Blair and their children Kelsey, Katie, Kyler, Karis, Korben, Klara, and Kenna.

Surviving Quarantine

Hannah knows what it’s like juggling different schedules and handling the endless to-do lists of life. Add in the coronavirus quarantine and things have gotten even more challenging for families. So how did Hannah survive months of quarantine with so many kids? She figured out a way to keep them engaged and happy. In The 14-Day Coronavirus Family Retreat Kit, which is a free download, Hannah not only shares practical tips on surviving lockdown, she also provides an Amazon shopping list for the supplies needed for each activity--https://www.familyretreatkit.com/optin1584213138532.

A few ideas from her kit include:

  • Self-care Day - Includes massage, relaxing, and homemade spa recipes for facial and hair masks.
  • Art Day - Allow each member of the family their own sketch pad and some great charcoal pencils and turn on the most artistic music you can think of (classical music always makes you feel super fancy). Now, create a still life that everyone will enjoy drawing.
  • Unplug Day - Leave the screens behind by focusing on other activities like puzzles, star gazing, a good movie, or game.
  • Carnival Day - Learn to make balloon animals and paint each other’s faces.
  • Retro Day - Put on some leg warmers and sweatbands and play some “oldies but goodies” music.  You can also have a hula hoop competition.
