Surgery Not Needed!
“An excruciating pain. It's like, ‘Lord, why is this happening?’ I really didn't know what to do. I've never hurt myself like that before,” Robin Brock said as she recalled the day of her injury.
“One evening I was in the kitchen cooking dinner and my foot caught, and I just turned and this excruciating pain came in my knee, on the inside,” Robin said. “It was like a jabbing knife just – just excruciating. I never felt it before. Then when I tried to walk and took a step it was all over again. So, that's when I had to hop to the couch.”
“I made it to the doctor and found out it was a torn meniscus,” Robin said. “The doctors had said, ‘Because it's ripped, give it some time, it might heal or we're going to have to do surgery.’ And instead of eight weeks of seeing if it'll heal itself, it would be eight more months just to heal. I was like, ‘I don't have that – I can't do that. That's just not going to happen.’ But, I had to listen to my body, and I had to stop and take things slower. Something that would take me half an hour to walk my dog was taking me an hour. That's going really slow for her and it's very frustrating for me. It would be very painful at certain times. So, having the knee injury, having to slow down, was depressing. I was like, ‘Lord, heal this.’”
“Sitting on the couch, The 700 Club came on,” Robin said about the day she turned on the TV while resting her leg. “That's when I saw Gordon on.”
“As we reach forth and as we touch that area of the body that needs healing we agree together, we say out loud to it, be healed and be made whole,” Gordon Robertson prayed. “May all pain leave me, in Jesus’ name. I receive it now. Now, what you couldn’t do before, do now. If you couldn’t move your legs, move your legs. If you couldn’t wiggle your toes, wiggle your toes. If you couldn’t make a fist, make a fist. Raise your arms to Him to begin to praise Him and say, ‘Lord be glorified in me.’”
“When he said, ’Let's pray and put your hands on the part that's hurting you.’ I put it on my knee, and we said the prayer,” Robin said. “And I know when I'm saying it, afterwards I'm thinking, ‘Lord, am I worthy of this? By faith I’m going to do this.’ I stood up and walked. I thought, ‘Okay, well, I'm walking and I don’t have pain.’ I was walking, it wasn't hurting and I said, ‘Okay, this is awesome! This is a miracle!’ It was an amazing feeling. It was just like, ‘Thank you, Lord.’”
“In my heart I felt so joyful and back to myself,” Robin said about her miraculous healing. “My dog – she was, oh my goodness. She was so happy that mommy's back to walking fast. You could see the delight in her step. I know that God healed me, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Believing in Him and having Him as my Savior, it's the most amazing thing in the world, because everything is possible. I am His daughter. I'm made in His image. He doesn't want me to be hurt. Anybody can ask and be healed. Anybody can ask and be saved.”
