Pray for America - Day 39
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

DAY 39: "Hope for the Church"
When a mystery of God is revealed, rejoicing abounds!
In Ephesians 3, Paul reveals the mystery of God’s plan for His church. Gentiles are no longer strangers, but joint heirs together with the saints and members of the household of God. Being built on the foundation with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone, we now have boldness and confidence through our faith in Christ. Paul then leads into a prayer that begins by asking that out of God’s glorious, unlimited resources we be granted His power through His Spirit and that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. May we as God’s church today recall Paul’s prayer in the coming days! By being rooted and grounded in love, we ask to understand how wide and long, deep and high is the love of Christ and—knowing this love—to be filled with all the fullness of God. And to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.
May we, God’s people in America, stay rooted and grounded in the faith, knowing that God’s marvelous plan for us is still unfolding. May our prayers and praises to the Lord our God never cease.
