Hillary and Huckabee

02-05-2007

Hillary Clinton is projected to have won the southern states of Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The Clinton camp is saying tonight that her strength in these states proves that she can win in red states. Of course, it's much different in a General Election and Arkansas is no surprise because of her time there as First Lady.

On the Republican side, McCain has won his share of primaries BUT so far, the story seems to be Mike Huckabee. He had a surprising win in West Virginia, he's won Arkansas, just won Alabama, and is leading in Georgia He's also running second in places like Tennessee and Oklahoma. He'll need to beat McCain in those states to really have a banner night.
