There's a new audio tape out there and Obama's critics say it proves he wants to bankrupt the coal industry. It's in his own words. Listen here.
This probably won't go over well in some of these key battleground states but two problems: the audio tape is coming out way too late for the media to make any hay out of it. Plus if you listen to the audio, you can argue that Obama is making one of his typical reasoned intellectual arguments about the subject. In other words, there seems to be healthy debate about what to do from an energy standpoint.
