So now Franklin Graham is saying kinds words about a potential Donald Trump presidential candidacy. It doesn’t surprise me in the least. (Watch the video below.)
I have said it in this space once and I’ll say it again. Donald Trump strikes a chord with many Evangelicals because he speaks bluntly and he’s not afraid to speak his mind. Evangelicals like his boldness characteristic.
They like his black and white views of issues. It resonates. Plain and simple. Will Donald Trump appeal to ALL evangelicals? Of course not.
Political prognosticators can write off Trump all they want with Evangelicals. But by doing so they miss the point entirely.
