This is Cain being asked about Libya while speaking today with the editorial board at the Milwaukee Wisconsin Journal Sentinel. The session was taped (as is normally the case).
Cain Campaign Spokesman J.D. Gordon had this response:
“He was on about four hours of sleep after flying from Atlanta to Wisconsin. He just took a moment to get his bearings. He just had to take a moment to articulate his ideas. He didn't say anything wrong. He didn't say anything inconsistent with his beliefs. It may be how the video was edited.”
Beyond a few more hours of sleep, he needs to brush up on his foreign policy credentials quickly. With falling poll numbers (especially among women) he’s at critical mass.
A jovial spirit and great personality can only get you so far. He needs to seal the deal by giving voters more than just oratory skill and 999.
