David Brody: I would think as a freshman congressman a lot of people will say, ‘Oh, he’s a freshman.’ But hey, you can pick up the phone and say, I mean humbly say ‘Hey, it’s Joe the Plumber here.’ In other words, there’s a platform that you have out here.
Samuel Wurzelbacher: Well, there is. And like you said, it’s not an arrogant statement. But, I can call up some news sources, and say, ‘Listen, this is what’s going on, I’d like to come on.’ And there’s a good chance they’ll say ‘Yes, let’s do that.’ So, I have a platform that some of your other freshman congressmen and some of your senior congressmen don’t have, and won’t have for some time.
I even talked about putting a webcam up at my desk. People want transparency. I’ll sit there and show you the bill all day long. This is the kind of garbage they’re putting out. They want you to pay for this. I’ll show it to ‘em.
Brody: I’ll bet you will.
