Jen Bricker says God made her a warrior: “A spiritual warrior...physical warrior...all over the world.” Her rise as a world-class aerial performer was like every other accomplishment in her life – she had to fight for it. She was born without legs.
“I just had this image that I, in order to be right with God and loved by God, I had to be this perfect Christian,” said Luke. Luke grew up in a Christian home, but by age 25, decided he couldn’t be the person he thought he should be.
Jen Bricker was born without legs and with her heart on the opposite side of her chest. Shocked and uncertain they could care for a child with two birth defects, her biological parents gave her up for adoption.
