Fateful Phone Call Ends 24 Years of Pain

Victoria loves being able to go for walks around her neighborhood. After she fractured her back during a snow sledding accident in 1990, it was difficult for her to move around without pain.  

“I've always had pain ever since, you know, the very beginning, the first injury,” said Victoria.

Over the years, she tried pain meds and even made several appointments with her chiropractor to help.

“Even when he adjusted me it still wasn't hitting that area as – that – I mean, I was so badly needed of help. It just felt like – like I was the Tin Man. It felt like I needed oiled or –like I was just so stiff and it was painful to even try to – like I had to walk with a creak like an old, you know, like the one hip wouldn’t even straighten out, so I kinda had to walk like this. And it was just cumbersome. Like I had a hard time even just wanting to go down and do laundry or even getting out of bed and doing anything,” said Victoria.

In 2014, Victoria became a Christian and began reading and studying the bible.

“I felt so blessed because God just like brought me right up to speed with knowing knowledge. Like my brain just started absorbing knowledge of the Bible and the Word,” said Victoria.

Victoria’s back pain was becoming worse. So began praying and asking God for healing. She also became a CBN partner. Then she got a call from one of CBN’s prayer staff.

“I think it was cause the fires were going out in California, so I wanted to give some extra money for that. He asked if I wanted prayer for anything and I told him that I was just really having this bad pain, and so we did prayer over that. The next morning when I woke up it was like I went to move and I went ‘Ohh my gosh!’ I couldn't – I mean, I couldn't believe it, but I believed it, you know?  It was like I – ‘That was awesome!’ So then there was no pain left at all. I mean, it was completely gone.  Completely gone,” said Victoria.

God healed Victoria. Now, she can enjoy life free from back pain.  

“I was happy. I mean, I was so glad to be able to walk and not have to, you know, catch.  I wanted to tell everybody, you know?  I was like ‘Oh, my gosh, it's really gone!’  I believe when I ask for something from God and I know he's going to – it's going to happen. It might not always happen right away, but it's going to happen, you know?  I know he's going to take care of me. I love him,” said Victoria.
