No Problem Too Small for God

At 76 years old and retired, Judy leads an active life. But in early 2015 her eyes started watering continuously and it was slowing her down. She recalls, “The tearing did make my eyes blurry. When I'm driving, I was blinking and wiping and reading became a lot more difficult.”  Then it got worse and her doctor put Judy on a regimen of compresses and eye drops. Judy says, “It worked okay for a while, but then it just chronically got worse and worse.”

Judy took her problem to God knowing he could heal her, but the issue persisted for years and nothing seemed to help. She says, “I kept saying, ‘Lord, this is getting to be a really big problem to me. Could you please just help me with this?’"  Then in May of 2019, at an out-of-town wedding in Florida, Judy’s eyes began watering worse than ever before.  Judy remembers, “I'm talking to people and my eyes were watering and I'm constantly going like this or like this. And then I have a tissue and I'd blot my eyes. I thought it's starting to be more of a problem than I thought it was.”

A week later Judy went home. As she started unpacking, she turned on The 700 Club. She recalls, “I heard Gordon say, ‘I'm going to pray for people now.’ And I just stopped what I was doing because I thought, ‘If they're going to pray for somebody that I know is having a health problem, I'll just intercede, I’ll put their name in there.’” Little did Judy know that God had something planned for her.

Gordon prayed: “Someone else with a chronic eye condition. It causes uncontrollable weeping or tearing is probably where you can’t ever seem to be normal. And God is able to heal, He’s able to restore, He’s able to reduce all of that swelling, all that discomfort now in Jesus’ name.”

Judy remembers, “I said, ‘Oh Lord, that's me! That's me!’ I was so surprised. And I said, ‘I accept my healing. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.’  I just couldn't believe I heard that.” Judy says her eyes stopped watering immediately.  She was so excited she called The 700 Club.  She says, “I called to let them know that I was miraculously healed. And if this sounded strange to Gordon, it was actually real.”

Judy has had no problems with her eyes watering ever since.  And she’s excited to share that no problem is too small for God. She says, “I heard a saying one time, it said, ‘If it's too small to be a prayer, it's too small to be a burden.’ Whatever concerns you, concerns God. And never stop, never stop praying. He hears us. To me, that's so important. He hears me. And I'm excited about that.”
