Gift for a Siberian Seamstress

CBN.com —After a hard day’s work on his small rice plot, Gosy (pronounced: Gossy) heads home to see his wife and 5-year-old son Gor.    
“My son cheers me up as soon as I see him!” said Gosy with a smile.   
A partial disability from polio makes Gosy’s work challenging, but he hasn’t let it slow him down.  
After he finishes his work on the farm, he heads off to his second job making bricks at a factory.  He earns only a dollar a day for eight hours of hard labor.   
Meanwhile Gosy’s wife, Senchang  is a skilled weaver.  She made beautiful embroidered hems for Laotian skirts, until she got too sick to work.
“I was sick for months,” she told CBN.  “We couldn’t afford medicine or doctors.  We also ran out of food.”
Eventually, Senchang recovered from her illness, but by that time, she was in debt to their relatives.   
So CBN bought the family a pregnant pig to start a small livestock business.
Everyday  little Gor helps to parents feed the pig and already the sow has given birth to two litters of 10 piglets each!   The couple has been able to sell them all. 
“the moment I saw the piglets,” said Gosy, “I knew we could going to be able to make it!  We were able to pay off our debts.” 
“And I was able to start working at the loom again and buy new thread for weaving!” added Senchang.   “Now I am making even more items to sell at the market.   Our income has multiplied many times over thanks to CBN’s help.”
