Trusting God In The Middle of Nowhere
CBN.com —In Russia, the capital city of Moscow may boast impressive buildings and expensive cars, but in the far eastern corner of Russia there lies Yakutia, a poor and very remote area. It is here that Sardana is a single mother trying to raise four children alone.
“Certainly, it was very hard when my husband abandoned us and left me without any money,” says Sardana. “It was dreadfully difficult. It is impossible to describe with words.”
Sardana had no food for her children. She didn’t know who to turn to, so she prayed. The members of her church raised a little money for them, but they still didn’t have a way to support themselves. Then CBN found out a local bakery had recently closed and that all of the bakery’s equipment was for sale. So CBN bought the equipment and set Sardana up with her own business.
“My family jumped with joy and praised God,” says Sardana. “I immediately called the pastor’s wife and asked for permission to put my new bread machine in our church.”
Today Sardana’s church is also her bakery.
“Now that I have the equipment to make bread I will always have a steady income for our family,” says Sardana. “Praise the lord! If I could, I would give everyone who helped us a big hug. Thank you so much!”
