Tommy James/Josh McDowell
For those of you who may have missed the Tommy James interview yesterday on The 700 Club ("Hanky Panky", "I Think We’re Alone Now", "Mony Mony", "Crimson and Clover", "Crystal Blue Persuasion", etc.), here ‘tis.
Tommy James was tied in with THE MOB, drugs and all the trappings, until he ran into God. He wrote a book about it, Me, The Mob and the Music. But don’t read it if you are easily offended by some graphic events and language.
Read the interview on CBN.com.
Watch it on CBN TV.
And then from a couple of weeks ago my interview with Josh McDowell, the extended version:
McDowell has spoken to millions of people in over 115 countries around the world. He has authored hundreds of books, his latest being The Unshakable Truth: How You Can Experience the 12 Essentials of a Relevant Faith.
Josh was the son of the town drunk who abused him and beat his mother; he also suffered sexual abuse by a household worker. The fact that McDowell rose above it all is what I felt needed to be talked about. And that’s what we did. To Josh McDowell’s credit he talked openly and honestly. Sometimes painful to hear but gutsy stuff.
