Hello, World!

I feel like I have to first introduce myself to you since this blog is new to the planet.  I'm Dana Brown Ritter, and I cover the White House for CBN News. 

Just in case you think that sounds super glamorous, let me first tell you that my workspace is the size of a closet in a house built in the 1930s (before people started hoarding stuff) and I usually wake up between 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. 

Still think it's glamourous? 

The truth is, it's a dream come true for me! I've been working in the TV News business for about 10 years, and never before have I jumped out of bed (okay, that's a stretch) and charged into the day ahead with such enthusiasm. I absolutely love covering the Presidential beat. I'm a total news junkie and I will always stop at the History Channel whenever they're playing any of those all day marathons about the presidents.

So... with this endeavor, I will attempt to make my mark on the history of the White House. My goal is to bring you daily updates on the president, his policies and initiatives, and help you understand what they mean for you and your family. 

I welcome your feedback, and I'll be happy to investigate any story ideas you have.
