Not so good news this Friday, the unemployment rate is stuck at 9.5 percent. Private employers only added 71,000 jobs in July, according to the latest government report.
Obama pointed to positive growth in the manufacturing industry, specifically the "Big 3" American automakers, but admits workers, families and small businesses aren't seeing progress fast enough.
