President Obama Names New Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships

The White House just announced that President Obama has appointed his new Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Here's the new group:

- Brian Gallagher
- Bishop Mark Hanson
- Lynn Hybels
- The Most Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori
- Rabbi Julie Schonfeld
- Archbishop Demetrios Trakatellis
- Sister Marlene Weisenbeck
- Reverend Elder Nancy L. Wilson

The President will name some more members to the council at a later date.

"I am pleased to announce that these experienced and committed individuals have agreed to join this Administration, and I look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead," President Obama said.
