Feedback - Thanks for Your Comments!

In a day and age where vilifying the mission in Iraq, and directly opposing our own military seems to be in vogue on college campuses, in the media and even from candidates running for president, I find great satisfaction in hearing from those of you who feel, as I do, that those who best understand the war are the heroes who are doing the fighting.

This is an example of some of the feedback that's coming in from the BOG blog. I just want everyone that reads this column to know how much I appreciate it when you take the time to respond.

Subject: Operation Freedom

I'm hoping I'm just 1 of many, many readers who appreciate Chuck Holton's column. I'm a mother of one who has been in Iraq a couple of times. My Son joined the service knowing he would be sent somewhere to serve his Country. I support our Country in trying to help the Iraqi People get a life without oppression. Especially those in Iraq who are trying to help themselves, and those who have died trying. Our Men and Women in the service deserve applause, not dissention from the American people. According to CNN, FOX, and some of the other Networks about 70% of the American people want our troops out of there. Maybe these Networks need to talk to the Military and see what their opinion is. Then after talking to them maybe they could tell the truth for once, and not tell the negative 70% what they want to believe. Since when do the people who aren't fighting the battles know more than the ones who do! I'm sorry, but I get a little emotional. You have to fight for what you believe so strongly in. I'm fighting for all our Military over in Iraq, Afganistan, and anywhere else that have been deployed to fight for the people's right to live the word "FREEDOM".

I read every message of feedback that's sent. Keep them coming! While you're at it, Digg these articles to get them more exposure!
