If President Obama becomes Jimmy Carter, Mitt Romney will win the presidency. The Brody File will be tracking how much Mitt Romney can turn Obama into Carter.
Reagan won the presidency in 1980 because he made the case that Jimmy Carter’s economic policies had failed and then asked the famous question, “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
Romney is essentially trying to do the same thing to Obama. The Brody File has decided to give this effort a name. We’re calling it, “The Jimmy Carter Scale.”
Who can win over the middle class in this country? Obama or Romney? Watch my story that aired nationally on "The 700 Club" this morning.
On this week's edition of the Stakelbeck on Terror show, we highlight a new documentary, called "Losing Our Sons," that examines the deadly impact of radical Islam on two American families and the broader implications for the United States. We sit down with Charles Jacobs, one of the men behind the film.
If you are a parent of a teen, you know how often he or she asks about rules. Seems like life is all about what he or she cannot do! Well, many Christians have the same issue with their faith. They see Christianity as a big list of do’s and don’ts. What is often missing when addressing both teens and fellow Christians is looking at the heart of a matter.
Mitt Romney did something in Irwin, Penn., today that should not go unnoticed. The Brody File watched in person as Romney received a standing ovation.
But it wasn’t because he talked about tax cuts or the economy or kicking President Obama out of office. Those lines were all well received but no, the standing ovation came when he said this line:
I'm honored to be part of the Middle East Briefing panel on Tuesday, July 17, at the 7th Annual Christians United for Israel (CUFI) Summit at the Washington Convention Center.
Sen. Joe Lieberman and Ari Fleischer, former press secretary for President George W. Bush, will also be on the panel. Each of us will have 25 minutes to speak, followed by audience Q and A.
This week, The Brody File is on the road in the Mountain West, a key battleground for the 2012 presidential race. See what the Obama and Romney campaigns are doing to get Hispanic voters.
Plus, we go one-on-one with Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
This whole situation with Mitt Romney, Bain Capital, and the CEO timeline isn’t really about the controversy over when Romney left. The mainstream media is focused in on whether Romney actually presided over the outsourcing of jobs after 1999, even though he says he left the company that year.
Forget all of that for a moment. The real issue is trust and authenticity.
Nick Wllaneda prepared all his life to walk across Niagra Falls in June, 2012. The 1,500 lb. wire was stretched, weather checked and re-checked. Off he went for a near 30 minute historic walk. But, what if he hadn’t made it, what if he had failed? There are certain issues that we all must face in order to avoid failure in walking our tight wire.
The Old Dominion. The Commonwealth of Virginia. It's the birthplace of America, the mother of presidents and a major battleground in this year's race to the White House. President Obama is hitting Virginia hard this weekend with stops in the southeast, southwest, and central parts of the state over a two-day swing.
Mitt Romney welcomed the president to the state by penning an open letter (scroll down to read) to him in a Virginia newspaper, slamming him for cuts to defense spending. Virginia is home to several military bases.
