81-year-old Shows You're Never Too Old for Online Love

While most might think Internet dating is primarily for the tech-savvy youth, at the ripe old age of 81 Wu Jieqin is a prime example that there's no age limit on Internet love.  Last weekend, he married 58-year-old Jiang Xiaohui, and the two will live together in China's Sichuan Province.  

Jiang says she had a difficult time convincing her parents,that the marriage was a good idea, since they're 85 and 86.  Her love ultimately conquered their fears.  She told the Beijing Newsthat Wu's "voice is very youthful.  Not like an 80-year-old," and emphasized his romantic sensibilities.  

His lonely hearts online ad attracted the attention of at least 50 women worldwide, and he had potential brides from the Ukraine, Australia, and the United States.  Apparently many other women were also interested in the romantic charms of the retired Beijing art professor. Ultimately, after meeting several other women, he knew that Jiang was the one.

It was love at first sight for the two, and they married only three days after their first date, though they had been corresponding online since September, 2007.  The two look forward to many happy years together.
