Free to Laugh, Jump and Enjoy Life After Years of Incontinence
For years, Patti Loyd was afraid to leave her home because she often suffered embarrassing accidents from incontinence.
“For 20 years, I couldn’t do anything, nothing, I had to stay close to a bathroom at all times or have a Depends on. Was always anticipating. I could never sit still.”
Although doctors prescribed medications through the years, she says they only made things worse. Six bladder surgeries also failed to alleviate her incontinence.
“I just felt terrible all the time. I was anxious all the time, depressed I couldn’t even laugh or enjoy my grandkids because I couldn’t lift them. I couldn’t laugh with them because I would have a problem immediately.”
“I prayed to God that it would stop. I prayed continually and going to Doctor’s continually. I thought that having this issue, I would be that way the rest of my life even though I prayed.”
Then, on October 28, 2020 while watching The 700 Club as they do every day, Pat and Wendy were praying, when Wendy said…
Wendy: “There is a lady and you’ve had serious chronic issues with your bladder. So put your hand right there and God is touching you. This pain and irritation is leaving and you are receiving a supernatural touch."
Patti continues, “And I said, that’s me! When I heard that word, I was anticipating a healing, yet the human side of me was scared, elated, hopeful."
Patti says from that point forward her incontinence improved a little every day.
“I would say it took two weeks and then I realized I was healed and I was like jumping around. And laughing and so excited and praising God, saying thank you, Father, cause you really do care about each and every one of us. “
Patti has been enjoying life with her family ever since.
“I am a free human being now. That freedom has allowed me to pick up my grandkids, to laugh at anything. We go walking, we can go anywhere no. It doesn’t matter how long the trip is. I always believed in Him, but never in my life thought, I was that important to Jesus, and I really, really was. He loves me and He cares about me, little ole me!”
