Views of Shanghai
As one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, it's hard to imagine that just a few short decades ago, Shanghai's streets had more rickshaws than cars, as Mark Kauffman's 1947 photo demonstrates.
Even though Shanghai's skyscrapers have far-surpassed the heights of the buildings in the 1947, it remains a lovely city.
