My Favorite Homemade Ice Cream - Ruth from Iowa

Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 qts whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla
1 qt whole milk

Cooking Instructions:
Beat eggs, add sugar, beating until creamy. Stir in whipping cream and vanilla. Cook till boiling on medium heat, STIRRING CONSTANTLY!
Pour into 1 gallon container of either a hand cranked or electric crank model ice cream freezer. Freeze and Enjoy, YUM!

Memorable Moment:
When I was a young girl, my dad would make hand cranked ice cream. While he cranked it, mom would tell my brothers and I stories of the "good ole days"! Now, with both mom and dad in Heaven, this brings back very special memories that I can tell my kids and grandkids.
