Only on Brody File: Iowa Evangelical Leader Says Donald Trump Is Bold and Transparent

In an interview you will only see on The Brody File, influential Iowa evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats, head of The Family Leader organization says that Donald Trump resonates with evangelicals because he is “very bold and he’s very transparent.”

Trump, along with Rick Santorum and Ted Cruz will headline the big Family Leader event on Saturday in Iowa.

Vander Plaats, who is well liked and respected by Iowa’s evangelical community, played a huge role in helping determine Iowa’s Republican Caucus winner in 2008 and 2012. He endorsed Mike Huckabee in 2008 and Rick Santorum in 2012.
